Review’s – Advised to buy this to lag external kitchen pipe (washing machine and condensation)which had iced up with the recent very cold spell. Enough to wrap around a couple of feet of piping twice with about 1/3 left over. Held in place using an outdoor/weatherproof tape. Cut in pieces sections over a bend in the pipe coming through the wall. Rest just wound around the pipe. Made sure the pipe was clear of ice first (kettle of hot water), and made sure dry afterward, Seems to have done the trick. My central heating pipes from my boiler are too tight to use foam tubes. This is the only option to lag the pipes to prevent loss of heat. However, I would still choose to use this product due to its flexibility. Both pipes lagged at the same time and a little duck tape to waterproof them. Used this underneath my static caravan after the recent installation of a new boiler leaving the water feed pipe bare in places. It was difficult to install foam lagging due to bends, connectors and nearby infrastructure. This tape enabled good insulation in difficult circumstances. It is an insulation wrap for the blown air heating pipes used on many caravans. It seems to be perfect for the task.
